What You Can Expect:
Work-life balance: Enjoy weekends off with a work week this is always Monday-Friday. The PRC role is an on call, backup for the PIC on vacation / sick days, LOA, etc. type of role.
Hours and Location:
This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are located at 1361 Hero Way, Suite 102, Leander, TX 78641. Enjoy a friendly, relaxed environment; this is a not a big-box retail atmosphere.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
As an PRN Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more

What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications:
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing in Texas
- Covid-19 Vaccine
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
