The Superintendent, Project Execution leads the construction management and project controls of Goldrush infrastructure capital projects. The role is accountable for the development and implementation of project execution plans, procurement and construction activities, and contract management and is responsible for Management of Change (MOC) processes, short-term interval controls (SIC), safety compliance, cost controls, and project reporting. The execution team is responsible the initiating, planning, monitoring, communicating, and handover of projects ensuring coordination of mine operations and engineering, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Drive safety mindset through Visible Felt Leadership and engagement of operations and contractor teams, ensuring effective leadership in site programs including management of change (MOC), team risk assessments (TRA), Field Interactions, and Fatal Risk Audits.
- Drive integration, collaboration, and coordination of NGM teams and contractors required for the effective development and execution of the project.
- Provide execution planning input to all project stages – design, scheduling, procurement, construction, commissioning and turnover – including constructability reviews, operational readiness, and change management.
- Manage and conduct construction activities and establish project controls including schedule, scope, and resource management to ensure seamless development and execution.
- Track and report project progress and earned value metrics.
- Manage purchases, procurement, and payments of projects.
- Support contract formulation and administration and ensure all work is in conformance with technical and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence of NGM and contractor teams to all safety standards and regulatory compliances
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Applied Science or Engineering, or similar equivalent, is required
- A minimum of 8 years of experience at an operating mine or relevant construction capacity is required, including supervision and project management preferred
- Project Management knowledge and experience is required
- Knowledge of project controls and cost forecasting is required
- Experience with managing contractors and contract management is required
- Knowledge of contracts and contracting strategies is preferred
- Knowledge of underground mine design, technical engineering and construction is strongly preferred
- Experience with underground material handling systems and mine infrastructure preferred
- Knowledge of approval for work permits and processes is preferred
- Proven leadership skills and supervisory experience are required
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required
- The ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment is required
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job is required
