The Scheduler is accountable for scheduling various types of patient appointments from simple office visits to very complex surgical and medical procedures. This may include coordinating schedules with multiple providers, specialized equipment, and other specialized resources. Complexity of this position is evidenced by the use of simple and complex medical terminology and enterprise scheduling protocols.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course and/or 1 year experience in medical scheduling.
- 1 year Clerical experience or secretary in medical setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years Experience in medical scheduling.
