The Patient Transportation Coordinator coordinates the movement of patients within and outside of the hospital. The Patient Transportation Coordinator has the primary responsibility of reviewing and coordinating non-emergent medical transportation requests for patients leaving the hospital and reviewing and coordinating patient transport within the hospital. Chart review and/or calls to clarify transportation needs will be performed to assure appropriate modes and timing of transport.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or 2 years in an acute care transport lead position or 2 years in acute care resource coordinator position
- 2 years of Hospital Healthcare experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field.
- Transport Lead.
- Resource Coordinator.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
