Health Information Imaging Technician *On Site*
The HIM Scanning Specialist is responsible for processing, scanning and indexing medical records for completeness and compliance in accordance with federal and state regulatory guidelines, Joint Commission standards, Medical Staff By-Laws/policies and procedures, and HIM department policies and procedures. This includes scanning all record types into the imaging system ensuring documents are properly indexed, boxed and stored according to retention and retrieval guidelines.

Required qualifications:
- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
- A track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Medical terminology.
- 2 years Experience in health information.
- Experience in a hospital environment.
