Diagnostic Imaging Assistant
The Specialist-Diagnostic Imaging Support assists and directs patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images and/or exam information into our Electronic Medical Records System (EMS). The Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist is responsible for all applicable software, and interacts with many departments, office staff, physicians and patients. The position requires extensive clerical, telephonic, and customer service skills.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree In the medical field. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- 1 year medical and/or clerical experience. Or
- A successful completion of a Providence Internship.
- Coursework/Training Basic medical terminology course, or completed within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training College courses in intermediate medical terminology and physical anatomy. Or equivalent educ/experience.
- Diagnostic Imaging experience.
- Electronic Medical Records System experience.
