Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Medication Aide performs medication administration and prescriber-ordered treatments.

Required Qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Medication Assistant Certification Endorsement upon hire.
- Successfully pass NCSBN Medication Assistant Certification exam upon hire.
- 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Preferred Qualification:
- 1 year experience as a MAC in a health care setting
