Hours: Full Time (36 Hours Weekly), Temporary, Variable Shift
The primary role of the CNA II is to provide care to residents living at Seward Mountain Haven. They will protect, sustain, and nurture elders by providing assistance with activities of daily living and other needs as needed or required. The core goal of the CNA's work is to provide assistance in a manner that promotes a quality of life.
Nursing services delivered by the CNA under the scope of their practice are supervised by and report to the licensed nurses in the home and is directly accountable to the Manager LTC Nursing.
The responsibilities of the CNA include care of the elders and their environment, including cooking, laundry, and housekeeping. Working collaboratively with the nurse, the CNA is a member of a self-managed work team and is responsible for coordinating aspects of the teams' work.
The CNA will work cooperatively with peers on the self-managed work team. The team and individual CNA work collaboratively with the Clinical Support Team (CST). The CST directs all matters related to skilled nursing services.
Other duties as assigned and within scope of practice.
