About the Role:
The Director of Food & Beverage Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the marketing landscape for Madinat Jumeirah’s exquisite culinary experiences. Tasked with curating and executing sophisticated marketing and communication strategies, this role is instrumental in aligning our food and beverage offerings with the esteemed luxury standards and global identity upheld by Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.
The Director of Food & Beverage Marketing will lead the charge in every facet of marketing and communications, utilising a multifaceted approach across various platforms such as branding, public relations, collaborations, social media, digital marketing, and influencer engagements.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
• Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) of marketing and communications initiatives within the F&B marketing department.
• Represent the F&B marketing department during annual commercial and budget presentations, and monthly commercial reviews. Provide professional marketing advice to F&B Directors, restaurant managers, F&B managers, and executives, fostering effective collaboration with other areas of the business.
• Analyse data and industry trends to inform the development of marketing and communication strategies across various platforms, including online, offline, PR, partnerships, social media, and digital marketing, with a specific focus on promoting F&B offerings.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in all F&B marketing and communications efforts, identifying opportunities for process improvements and best practices tailored to the unique needs of the F&B sector.
• Conduct regular competitive analyses within the F&B industry to identify marketing and communication opportunities and market differentiators. Develop and launch innovative strategies to enhance the visibility and profitability of F&B offerings during key dining periods and special events.
• Provide marketing communications support to various departments within the hotel, ensuring F&B presence within the Sales, Revenue and Hotel marketing teams for a complete 360 F&B marketing approach, driving both internal and external guest capture.
• Adhere to departmental, hotel, and Group policies, processes, and standard operating procedures, ensuring excellent service delivery within the F&B department in line with Jumeirah’s standard of excellence.
• Oversee day-to-day external communications for all Madinat Jumeirah restaurants, reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Coordinate with the appointed PR agency to disseminate all communication materials to media, including press releases, picture stories, and listings.
• Assist in developing key partnerships/sponsorships for the restaurants, amplifying them through external communications to boost restaurant awareness, reservations, and footfall in alignment with aggressive budgets.
• Propose creative ideas and impactful promotional tactics to differentiate the restaurants, aiming to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
• Work closely with other F&B marketing functions to ensure seamless integration of activities across relevant channels.
