About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Team Leader to join us at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Security Team Leaders are to strictly comply with the Jumeirah grooming standards. They are to assess the grooming standards of their team at the beginning of each shift and ensure that high standards are maintained.
- Responsible for the supervision of all Duty Security Officers (Internal/external) within their shift.
- Must work with the Duty Managers in order to protect the JCT & JLH properties, colleagues and guests by communicating all security/health & safety issues for follow up action if necessary and assist them when requested to do so activities related to safety and security procedures.
- To assist in enquiries from the Police or other government departments and law enforcement agencies.
- To ensure that in the event of the visit of any such person or department, that the Director of Security is advised as soon as practicable.
- To assess and ensure the reporting of any potential loss situations in the hotel in order that accidental profit loss may be prevented.
- To enforce the ‘PASS OUT’ procedure and to carry out random checks and searches on colleagues and contractors, entering and leaving the building.
- To ensure that all Security and Hotel record systems are maintained in the manner instructed by the Director of Security
- To ensure all Security Incident/Loss/Accident Reports have been completed and are communicated to the Director of Security electronically before shift
- To ensure follow up and communication of any Hazard report submitted.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment
- NEBOSH certification
- SIA license
- Excellent leadership skills
- Flexibility with shifts depending on the needs of the hotel
- Great problem solving skills
