Job Details
We are looking for a highly skilled Admin Assistant to provide front line administrative support in a Secondary School, acting as the focal point for staff and visitors. The postholder has specific responsibility for Financial and Devolved School Management issues, responding to changes in IT systems, and supervision and development of Clerical Officers and Clerical Assistants. The post holder is responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the school office.
As an Admin Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Headteacher, Business Manager, or Admin Coordinator.

Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements
You are required to have an HNC or equivalent educational qualification to SCQF level 7, in a relevant discipline. You will be given the opportunity to work towards this within 2 years from start of employment.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
