Job Details
Reporting to the Electrical Engineer, Professional Services Group 1, the successful candidate will be required to work independently or as part of a design team, carrying out electrical engineering duties and producing technical design solutions on a variety of building projects from inception to completion.
The position is predominantly Monday to Friday; however the post holder will be required to be contactable by telephone if guidance/support is required in relation to out of hours emergencies.

The Person
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and significant experience of working within a Building Services Electrical Engineering Design role. You should have a good Electrical Engineering knowledge and the ability to keep abreast of changes in legislation, regulation and practice which impact on electrical engineering and safety.
Applicants must be educated to a minimum of SCQF 7 and have an HNC in an appropriate Electrical Engineering area. Qualification to SCQF 9, having an Ordinary Degree, is desirable.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate their ability to carry out Contract Administration Duties, delivering projects to agreed targets and to a high standard.
