Job Details
Older People’s Services has 8 residential services across Fife, with a team based in each service. You can view each of the service locations, listed above in this advert, and you will be asked to provide your location preference at interview.
The successful candidate will work on a rota basis within the care home which includes, early shifts, late shifts and a period of night duty, unsocial hours will be paid at basic rate plus 1/3 hourly rate.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our care home team in Fife Council’s Residential and Day Services.
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People; with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, this will involve creating, monitoring and reviewing care plans and keeping accurate records of support planning as well as ensuring the service user is being offered the opportunities, experience and the care and support within their care plan.
We provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people: the care homes also support a respite, STAR unit and day service.

The Person
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
