Job Details
This is an opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join a well established and experienced team who assess and support the needs of Children Affected by Disability across Fife.
You will be responsible for a range of assessments, including statutory, child protection, and Section 23 assessments. Our aim is to assess and provide options for children and families who require additional supports to manage family life and achieve their potential. This may include the provision of Self Directed packages of support.
For many of our children, there is a need for lifelong support and we are passionate about ensuring good outcomes for young people as they transition into adulthood.
The Person
We are looking for a Social Worker who is a team player who is able to work collaboratively within a multi disciplinary service.
You will have a creative and flexible approach to promoting the need of children who face the barriers of communication, health and social disadvantage.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
