We are looking for a technical documentation administrator to provide day-to-day support in the management and maintenance of design history files and associated records. Reporting to the Design Control Manager, you will work with product development teams in ensuring that design and development documentation is appropriately managed and maintained across documentation platforms.
The role will provide documentation support for new and existing projects within the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems. The individual will bring a proven level of experience in maintaining documentation in quality accredited environments, ideally in a medical devices field.
This is a full-time role in which you will contribute towards ensuring that Oxford Nanopore products meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Specific duties include but are not limited toWorking with the design control manager, you will support in the management and maintenance of product design history files.
Ensure that documentation outputs from the design and development process are appropriately processed in the company document management system.
Support the design control manager in ensuring that documents, records and procedures are authored, reviewed and approved in a timely manner.
Provide routine updates to the design control manager and project teams on the status of documentation.
Ensure that a regular review of documentation status occurs with project stakeholders
Where requested author procedures and design related documents in the company document management system.
Proofreading documents to ensure that any SOP/template requirements have been fulfilled and to facilitate efficient final review.
The successful applicant will be qualified to degree level or have relevant experience in a technical documentation role - administering technical/quality documentation that can be called on for audit/inspection by external bodies and experience with working to standard operating procedures.
Ideally you will have a working knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 13485/9001) and other quality management systems (27001)
You will have excellent writing skills, be a strong team worker and have the ability to work with minimal supervision for allocated tasks. A high level of proficiency with MS applications (Excel, WORD etc.) and experience with working in an electronic document management system will be required.
