Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for an Environmental Planner, Scientist or Engineer, with an interest in environmental impact assessments and approvals, to join our Newcastle Environmental Services team.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Preparation of environmental constraints reports, environmental impact assessments and statutory referrals
- Assist in the management of environmental risks and opportunities for clients and projects
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with industry networks and clients
- Complete and update reports (including prospects list) relating to project development
- Assist in building GHD’s environmental profile across the region
What you will bring to the team:
- Formal qualification in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or related discipline
- 4+ years of related professional experience within impact assessment
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to communicate market intelligence
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key clients
