I. Job Summary
The Associate Project Manager is an on-the-job training position that develops Project Managers for Waste Management’s Sustainability Services team. The duties and responsibilities, under the direction and supervision of WM leaders, are related to onsite activities at client locations. The Associate PM, through assigned work activities, a training curriculum, and hands-on projects, will develop a working knowledge of all aspects of the day-to-day onsite sustainability operations including, but it not limited to, the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous/non-hazardous wastes and other related services following federal, state & local regulations. The Associate PM learns to plan and manage the work of onsite personnel, serve as liaison between client and vendors in relation to service issues and contract management, and maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues.
This position is part of an 8-month training program on-site in Greenfield, IN. Upon graduation from the program, you will be required to relocate to where a Project Manager position is open. There is no way of forecasting where in the US that a position will open so complete flexibility with relocation is required.

The expected salary for this position is $60,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 10% annual target bonus.
