NOV is actively recruiting an HR Technology Analyst in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the HR Technology team and the end users. The responsibilities include providing systems support and analysis to facilitate leveraging technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR function and our employees. This position will be heavily involved in the support of all the Human Capital Management applications for all users, including Oracle HCM Cloud (Core HR, Security, Absence, Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning, Compensation and Benefits) and Kronos / UKG (Time and Labor).
Responsibilities
• Provide first level of support for Oracle Human Capital Management system (HCM) system through research and resolution of system related issues.
• Collaborates with HR Business partners, IT, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits or other teams to ensure system functionality and accurate and timely reporting.
• Troubleshoots HRIS-related errors and escalates issues as needed. Works closely with Oracle Support and technical team to resolve service requests/ tickets within SLA.
• Configuration of systems to meet the business needs including creation/maintenance of Departments, Locations, and other foundation objects.
• Ensure data integrity within the system through monitoring and auditing the data that is entered into the system. Develops and executes audit queries and coordinates data cleanup.
• Responsible for mass loads and data management activities, including completing manual data entry requests and data corrections, as needed.
• Train end users on system procedures and updates for HR systems.
• Acts as the subject matter expert for Oracle HCM Cloud for all HR, Security, Workflow and Self-Service related queries.
• Coordinate and/or conduct UAT testing for quarterly upgrades. Participates in the testing and implementation of all HRIS upgrades and rollout of new features.
• End-to-end project support, including business requirements, analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Develop reporting requirements for business or HR requests.
• Maintain security and approvals hierarchy, work structures, and other key configuration items.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Administration
• Experience with HR (HCM) Software Applications required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Availability to work hours outside of normal business hours (i.e. system updates at 7PM CST 3 days a week, occasionally weekends)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Advanced Excel skills a must
• Experience with Oracle HCM or other HR information systems highly desirable
• Experience with Alteryx, SQL, Kronos preferred
• Strong analytical and business problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and takes personal accountability for deliverables
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
