Job Summary
NOV WellSite Services is seeking a motivated and energetic summer intern to join our dynamic Training Department in the greater Houston area for the summer of 2024 (flexible start and end dates). This summer internship will provide valuable, real-world experience to students pursuing a university degree in engineering with a focus in business. As a Summer Intern within the Training Department, you will gain valuable experience in the oil and gas industry while supporting the development and delivery of training programs for our customers' field personnel. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from industry experts, contribute to impactful projects, and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with research and development of new training content for solids control equipment.
- Support the creation of engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online modules.
Participate in the development and administration of knowledge assessments.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a related field, such as Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Education & Training.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A passion for the oil and gas industry (a plus).
