Job Summary: Ensures efficient and professional banquet/catering service while maintaining high customer service standards. Acts as the main contact for events, overseeing 2-10 employees and managing all aspects of events. Collaborates with clients to meet their needs and resolve concerns.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Customer service experience necessary, with banquet/catering experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Valid North Carolina driver's license required for company vehicle use.
Essential Functions:

- Meets or exceeds departmental operational standards.

- Collaborates with chefs and production managers to enhance operations and create innovative menus.
- Adheres to work schedule and stays updated on assignments and upcoming functions.
- Sets up tables and ensures proper presentation and supplies.
- Prepares and serves food and beverages, maintaining service standards and cleanliness.
- Assists in cleaning and organizing function spaces.
- Familiar with safety and emergency procedures, reports incidents promptly.
- Maintains a professional appearance and promotes goodwill through courteous and helpful interactions.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Skills/Qualifications: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds. Effective communication in English. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment: Clean, well-lit, fast-paced environment with occasional long hours and interruptions.
Physical Requirements: Varied activities including standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, finger and hand dexterity, talking, hearing, and seeing. Lifts up to 20 lbs. to 100 lbs. depending on the task.
