POSITION SUMMARY
Operates Ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of imaging procedures as indicated by protocol. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of their imaging procedures.

Education: Graduate of Allied Health Program
Experience: 0-2 yrs
License: RDMS-REGISTERED DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHER (ARDMS)
Certification: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)

Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner; assists with amnio procedure biopsies; processes and files films as needed.

Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography

Certifications:
Required: Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire). AHA BLS certified.
