Position Summary
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all facility and building systems. Provide facility security functions as directed. Completes specialized repairs in areas of technical expertise. Performs other general tasks for the maintenance and upkeep of grounds, facility and site. Provides plant operation and security shift coverage as necessary. Provide assistance and direction to entry Engineers when directed.
Qualifications
Required License/Certification: CDL
Knowledge & Skills:
Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification: Three years in hospital environment with Plant Operation background preferred. Three years previous experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance preferred. Security experience preferred. Must have competent writing skills, computer skills and a basic competency in math. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with frequent interruptions is required. Successful incumbent will have customer service orientation and the ability to communicate and listen effectively. Must have excellent people and communication skills to respond to complex situations with patients, visitors and staff.
