Summary
Provides surveillance for personnel and vehicles in designated area of responsibility. Receives, prioritizes and dispatches security assistance to those in need. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or GED equivalent PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 or more years in parking experience and/or dispatch. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: None PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Dispatcher certificationTenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. Receives patient assistance calls from nursing staff and dispatches Medical Support Team personnel to various departments to assist staff with various patient needs. Directs the activities of the Medical Support Technicians working or rotating through the department, including their discipline and performance while in that area. Responsible for the collection of blood specimens and performing EKG's, ensuring patient safety and consistency with age-specific considerations for all patients, neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Performs clerical functions, processing duties, and training of employees. Transports patients and visitors in a safe, timely manner to their designated destinations. Documents requests for services in order to provide an accurate and timely tracking system.
Education:Required: Graduate of Medical Assistant, EMT, or Military Training Course. Phlebotomy and Basic EKG Course.
