Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Technician performs a variety of routine to skilled general maintenance duties in the repair, alteration and modification of buildings, equipment and facilities. All full-time Operations Technicians with a minimum of 2 years full-time day shift experience at DMC/DBHC will be required to take call as assigned and in accordance with Facilities Services “Procedure for Standby and On-call Response.”
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School graduate preferred.
Minimum Experience/Skills: 5 years experience required
License/Certificates/ Credentials: Valid California Drivers License.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting, standing/walking
- Lift/position up to 100 lbs. Push/pull up to 100 lbs of force.

Pay Range: $23.71 - $31.85 hourly
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience

Performs routine maintenance tasks. Responds to hot/cold calls, changing out lighting, minor repairs to equipment, routine plumbing calls, replacing ceiling tiles, minor window, and roof repairs, and conducts daily rounds of the facility to maintain a safe environment. Assists other trades when additional help is required.
Education:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field
Experience:
Required: 2 years experience with a contractor or work in another type of trade.
