Job Descrption
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Patient Care Manager to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Burnsville! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
The ASC Patient Care Manager has leadership responsibility and authority for overall direction and operation of the department, which may include sub-departments. Provides leadership guidance and direction of processes and practices to ensure consistency among sub-departments, service line, and partners in other service lines. Leads or may be involved to support subordinate leaders in activities such as hiring, staff development, performance management and evaluations, disciplinary actions, scheduling. These incumbent leads, manages and evaluates leadership performance of direct report(s), patient care/outcomes, staff resources, productivity; improvement projects overall. Leads interdisciplinary collaboration for patient care. Identifies department level goals and strategies to drive talent development, quality and process improvement, and clinical best practices. Engages subordinate leaders in planning and improvement processes.

- 1.0 FTE
- Onsite Monday – Friday
- Offsite coverage
Required Qualifications:
- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Bachelor of Science/Arts in Nursing required or/ progress towards this degree expected yearly.
- Minimum of five clinical experience
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Minnesota Licensed Registered Nurse.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expressed desire/passion to focus on nursing, leadership, and management.

- Basic computing & printers: Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Electronic Medical Records
- Copy & fax machines
- Department specific equipment and software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Masters Degree
- Management/leadership experience.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients..
