Job Title: Supervisor II Manufacturing
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000/annual; plus bonus eligibility
Summary: Ensure that quality, safety, productivity and cost improvement efforts are met by establishing shift goals and maintain team focus, capitalize on associates' skills, abilities, and differences to implement a continuous improvement manufacturing environment
Responsibilities:
- Ensure policies, procedures, safety and quality standards are met
- Plan and assign production staff to meet manufacturing objectives
- Work with engineering team to resolve quality issues and test new product. Ensure equipment is maintained properly.
- Coordinate, coach, and facilitate team members in meeting quality, production, material usage, and cost standards and goals of the shift and plant.
- Develop and train staff and ensure obstacles are eliminated to empower associates to pursue improvement proposals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. BA/BS and manufacturing experience preferred.
- 5+ years supervisory experience.
- Work around machinery, chemicals, noise and other typical manufacturing environmental factors.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
