The Quality Reporting and Analytics Coordinator is responsible for the abstracting high integrity data and the reporting of quality data to external agencies throughout the organization. Examples include, and not limited to CMS, patient safety organizations, private payers, and professional societies. Key job duties and responsibilities include abstracting information from the EMR and conducting concurrent and or retrospective review of medical records in order to facilitate the analysis, monitoring and reporting of quality data. Identifies system opportunities for data integrity and improved performance. Supports the achievement of system and regional objectives by collaborating with hospital partners for improved patient care. Success is accomplished by timely high integrity data that may be used to improve patient care and organizational performance.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Clinical Licensure, Clinical Certification; or CPHQ preferred.
  • Cardiovascular experience is preferred; Surgical experience is preferred.
  • Former registry experience preferred.
  • Requires a working knowledge of the clinical progression for medical, procedural, or surgical patients for the interpretation of clinical data.
  • Requires data management, basic statically analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Requires independent work in a highly matrix reporting structure.
