The Director of Philanthropy leads with passion and commitment to enhance health and well-being while inspiring generosity across different regions within the state of Indiana. This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to drive, cultivate, solicit, and manage relationships with both potential and current donors while focusing on revenue growth and high priority funding areas. The Director partners with Executive and senior leadership (including but not limited to Development and Operations Executives as well as Executive Directors) to uphold and achieve metrics. The position manages and supports driving financial goals to target. This Director serves as a member of the IU Health Foundation leadership team.
- This role will be based at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
- Occasional state-wide travel is required.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Master's Preferred
- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of fundraising software (i.e. Raiser's Edge).
- Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment.
- Experience running campaigns in a healthcare organization required.
