Talent Partnerships Assistant Manager at Fanatics

Job Descrption

The Talent Partnerships Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in autograph acquisitions, managing Talent/agency accounts, and project management of key internal initiatives for trading card sets.  This position will report to the Talent Partnerships Manager.  The Talent Partnerships Assistant Manager will work closely with internal business units including product development, operations, accounts payable, e-commerce, marketing, customer service, as well as manage daily correspondence with external agencies.   

Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between Fanatics Collectibles and agents, representatives, and direct talent for the coordination of talent signings and managing autograph procurement. 
  • Work directly with product development to oversee product subject lists, provide guidance on talent relations, analyze procurement needs, and manage operational deadlines.
  • Lead for Talent Partnerships in collaborating with customer service requests and fulfilling backorder needs.
  • Communicate autograph acquisition developments and ongoing issues to product development and operations teams on ongoing basis.
  • Collaborate with Talent Planners and Accounts Payable team members to ensure contracted parties are paid for signings in an accurate manner.   
  • Negotiate, close, and manage autograph agreements according to business needs. 
  • Manage talent autograph signings by coordinating with Fanatics Collectibles witness representatives and agency contacts.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with agents, marketing reps, industry contacts, and assorted talent.

 

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience in related field (agency, marketing, talent management, account management, entertainment industry).
  • Self-confident, personable, outgoing, energetic, pro-active, organized, highly detailed, and professional.
  • Skilled in handling and maintaining sensitive information and confidentiality.
  • Works well under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines and thrive in changing circumstances; enjoys a fast-paced environment.
  • Team oriented with ability to interact with personnel across the organization.
  • Strong passion and comprehensive knowledge of comic books, pop culture, and other entertainment Intellectual properties. 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication; proven ability to manage relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite  
  • Flexibility in travel schedule. 
  • Bachelor’s degree.

The salary range for this position is $80,000- $95,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
