Overview:

To review and ensure on billing completeness and reconciliation process (OTM, SAP).  Work with AP team if there’s any issues causing variances in billings. Responsible for any combination of functions as indicated below.

Responsibilities:

1. Billing FM customers:  This position is required to meet customer needs for their invoicing - responsible to extract necessary information from the Transportation systems (OTM, SAP), check the data completeness & accuracy and deliver the information to the customer on a weekly basis (weekly billing).  Prepares AR file, upload file, assigns invoice number and uploads to SAP.
2. AR Follow ups: Follow up with the stakeholders on past due invoices. Generate AR ageing & unbilled report on weekly basis and reports are send to management on weekly basis. Initiates and obtain approval for write-offs (if any) or credit memo (if any).
3. Work closely with IT, AR Liaison in Farmington Hills (if applicable), Carrier Relations, Pricing and Operations to resolve issues on a timely basis.
4. Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
5. Accurately and timely provide financial information to both internal and external parties.
6. Ensure issues not resolved are escalated to supervisor on a timely basis.
7. Preparation of Adhocs reports on AR, Management reports (FMH / GSSKL) and any other Adhocs matters are required on timely basis or based on mgmt request.
8. To train new staff onboard for AR/GL and to work with supervisor to update the documentation (as required)

Qualifications:

• Education: Preferred Degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent related work experience                                              
• Experiences: 1-3 years of experience. Prior AR experience dealing with multiple parties and high-volume workload in a Transportation environment preferred.
• Skills Sets: Possess strong analytical skills and accounting knowledge.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP & Outlook.
• Data entry experience required.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

The typical starting salary range for this position is: $59,521 - $73.960.

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
