SALARY RANGE: $133,250 – $200,200 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Execute E2E Performance validation from New Production Introduction (NPI) until mass deployment for Nokia’s 3GPP R15/R16 and 4G/5G networks. Validate and update software configuration against Nokia customer master configuration throughout feature life cycle until production. Perform monitoring and analysis post software upgrade. Monitor changes in algorithms and feature dependencies release-to release and with new features, quantify impacts and define mitigation plans. Validate features’ performance and expected results when deployed in productions network. Identify performance improvement and identify opportunities to upsell Nokia service, products and features. Identify performance degradation causes and working with Technical Services Support (TSS)/ Research & Development (R&D) teams for resolution. #LI-DNI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience, of which 5 years is post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: 3GPP R15 or R16 system implementation; Testing and optimizing network technologies, including VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation, Massive MIMO, Beamforming, VoNR and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS); Performing analysis and troubleshooting of call flows for 4G/5G Radio Interface protocols; 4G/5G performance troubleshooting using EMIL, Qualcomm eXtensible Diagnostic Monitor (QXDM), Actix and Wireshark; and Programming skills in R, Python, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
Domestic travel required up to 10%.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted per business need.
