Your key accountabilities will include
- Lead the day-to-day operation of Financial Services (FS) across the store estate including regular FS reporting across service, compliance, and operations
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documentation and other supporting guidance and Learning & Development tools for colleagues
- Lead the proactive engagement and communication plan for all FS operations including our Connect Live event held twice each year
- Work between the Retail, M&S Connect, and M&S Bank teams to ensure the in-store customer acquisition journey is the best it can be for our customers
- Liaise and work with development teams in Retail, M&S Connect, and M&S Bank to deliver operational enhancements to improve store process efficiencies and deliver relevant regulatory compliance
Your skills and experience will include
- Ability to influence a number of internal and external partners
- Managing and responding to ambiguous situations that may arise in the day-to-day operation
- Strong communication, influencing, and teamwork skills
- Laser focused on the customer and colleague, focusing on retail stores, keeping this at the heart of everything you do
- Strong partnership management skills
