OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
- Ensure the quality of food items according to specifications.
- Monitor food quantities to control waste and prevent unnecessary disposal.
- Adhere to personal hygiene procedures for safe food handling.
- Follow food safety policies, including HACCP guidelines, product rotation, and FIFO.
- Communicate effectively during busy periods to optimize guest service.
- Monitor and report issues with equipment, maintaining kitchen logs.
- Maintain a sanitary kitchen environment by washing and disinfecting tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow sanitation and cleaning procedures, reporting pest control issues.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff in food preparation.
- Collaborate with other team members, providing assistance as needed.
