Cocktail waiter/waitress - Red Bar
Part of the Red Bar team and as a Cocktail Waiter, you will be responsible for wowing our guests with exceptional service and making them feel at home. In this role, you are the face of our bar! Providing a warm welcome, taking orders, running drinks, clearing tables and uphold our high standards of service, as well as setting up and clearing down the bar will form part of your normal duties, however the greatest and most important task is helping our guests and customers have an amazing time!
Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards
- Able to organise and orchestrate the opening, operation, and closing of the Red Bar
- A good working knowledge of all beverage products - particularly wine, liquor, and signature cocktails as well as a good working knowledge of all food products (Excellent training will be given!).
- Greet guests, take orders, serve and take payment in line with Marriott brand standards
- Read tables and understand guest needs and dislikes

What you’ll do as our newly appointed Cocktail waiter/ waitress:
- Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
- Take guests’ food and beverage orders, making recommendations on menu items and taking opportunities to upsell where appropriate
- Ensure that all customers enjoy quick and efficient service and check with them that the meal is meeting their expectations
- Ensure that the restaurant is set up and ready for each service period
- Take responsibility for ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and bar area
