OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
Maintaining Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures for guests, supervise VIP arrivals, and oversee the handling of guest accounts. Also, supervise compliance with cash handling procedures and conduct regular PCI audits to maintain operational standards.
Guest Satisfaction and Experience: Demonstrate and promote quality awareness among the Executive Lounge team, resolve guest problems efficiently, and ensure special guest requests/preferences are met. Champion customer service excellence and uphold Marriott Bonvoy program standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
Team Management and Training: Supervise Executive Lounge associates, participate in their training and development, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s) and front office operational software. Encourage cleanliness and organization among associates, leading by example.
Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication channels with other hotel departments, especially the Culinary team regarding buffet setup and food replenishment. Ensure relevant information is communicated across shifts through briefings and complete all required checklists at the end of each shift.
Compliance and Security: Adhere to all food safety regulations, emergency procedures, and Marriott International standards. Remain vigilant about security concerns, report any suspicious activities to the Manager on Duty, and ensure compliance with regional office policies and procedures.
