Join our Culinary Academy as an Apprentice!
No Kitchen experience? No Problem. Our Culinary apprentices start learning right from the get-go. Train on the job from top chefs, using the best ingredients and the latest techniques. You will learn everything from cooking the perfect breakfast, to the juiciest steak or a themed conference break to the finest banqueting dinner. Just bring your love for good food and we will do the rest.
The culinary academy is available The London EDITION, under the direction of celebrated Michelin starred Chef Jason Atherton, the award-winning Berners Tavern remains one of London's most talked about restaurants. Join our team and help create and deliver a contemporary British menu that is simple yet elegant, using the very best products in the British Isles.
The Qualification
In collaboration with Inspiro, this year we will start our Marriott Culinary Academy. Offering qualifications in level 2, Commis Chef or Production Chef, and level 3, Senior Production Chef. The qualification will take 14 to 16 months before your end-point-assessment.
You will join us this summer, with orientation days happening in September.
Some highlights and key focus areas of the programme;
Inspiro has been working successfully with Marriott for many years delivering work-based learning programmes that lead to a nationally recognised qualification. Inspiro delivers the assessment, mentoring and guidance required for the Apprenticeship, which is carried out by Inspiro’s Vocational Learning Advisors (VLA) within your workplace. This means that there is no need for you to spend time away from your job in a classroom or at college.
