The Role
As a mobile Maintenance Passive Fire Technician, you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive commercial maintenance requests across multiple key contracts for BGIS.
This is an entry level position for someone passionate about building a stable and rewarding career in the Fire Trade Space. No qualifications needed!
This role is based in Sydney, NSW.
Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
- Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Fire Doors, Smoke Doors, Fire seals, Smoke seals, Fire separation and other passive solutions
- Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work
- Liaise directly with the client regarding service work.
- Conduct facility maintenance as required
- Maintain and service all Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS1851-2012
Skills & Experience
- No qualifications needed!
- Demonstrate experience working with Portable Fire Equipment (desired, not necessary)
- Demonstrate and understand process of installation, repair and testing (desired, not necessary)
- WHS Construction White card
- Drivers License
- Australian Citizenship
- FPAS accreditation (desired, not necessary)
- Strong experience and understanding of AS1851 and AS2118 (desired, not necessary)
