Do you like to make a difference and change things for the better?
We are looking for someone who can take the initiative and lead on identifying, recommending, and delivering change and improvement projects that enhance care providers experience of doing business with us, ensuring they are paid in a timely way.
With knowledge of social care, and experience of managing projects that involve process, procedural, or cultural change, you will establish processes to monitor care provider queries and then use the intelligence gathered to advise senior management of the improvements we need to make to the way we work. We want there to be fewer reasons for care providers to contact the council about payment or contractual issues, and when they do, for their query to be resolved more efficiently, leading to improved supplier satisfaction.
You will be responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of all activities within assigned projects such as developing a departmental approach to the use of 1:1 payment for care, as well as managing the resolution of the most complex care provider queries that have significant legal, reputational, financial, or other risks.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work at a senior level with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including care providers, to affect change.
For an informal discussion about this role please contact Claire Dixon, Commissioning Manager on 01603 223151.
