In this position...
The Ford Pro Fleet Management Account Manager reports directly to the Ford Pro General Manager, Commercial & Government Sales. General responsibilities for the role are as follows:
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective relationships with operations, management, and leadership teams at the 6 Major US Fleet Management Companies (FMCs) to promote increased awareness and adoption of Ford Pro products and services.
- Act as the primary Ford Pro contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all issues and strategic initiatives regarding the Fleet Management industry as a whole.
- Lead virtual and in-person presentations of the Ford Pro portfolio of vehicles, products, and services with FMC personnel and leadership, and coordinate joint sales efforts between FMCs and Ford Pro National Account Management Team.
- Lead all collaborative efforts with FMC Sales Teams to develop go-to-market strategies and materials to competitively position Ford Pro when working with our mutual commercial customers.
- Participate in FMC Sales Meetings/Activities, Industry Trade Shows, Ford Pro Events, etc.
- Coordinate all FMC-facing communications to ensure pertinent information is provided in a timely and accurate manner and cascaded to all mutual fleet customers accordingly (scheduling/production details, vehicle pricing and incentive updates, Ford Pro announcements, etc.).
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the 6 Major US Fleet Management Companies and the various branches of Ford Pro (Charging, Data/Intelligence, Parts & Service, Systems/IT, etc.).
- Act as the strategic “Voice of the Fleet Management Company Customer” within Ford Pro.
- Assist in the development of annual Fleet Incentive Programs that impact both end users and FMCs.
- Perform and provide regular industry analysis of ordering trends vs. historical data to aid in the strategic direction of Ford Pro as a whole.
- Provide direction for and manage escalated issues from the CCOE FMC Leasing Analyst Team.
- Oversee Bailment Pool operations and develop/maintain Rapid Order Fulfillment Pools, as needed.
- Collaborate with NAVL Team on a regular basis to streamline the order-to-delivery (OTD) process and identify, address, and resolve FMC issues within the Logistics and Transportation space.
- Develop IT enhancements to ensure Ford Pro is the easiest OEM to work with in the industry.
- Participate in the planning and execution of the Annual Ford Pro FMC Executive Summit.
You'll have...
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree Required
- 5+ years of experience in account management working with various customers in managing their day to day business
- 3+ years of experience of data analytics using Excel
- 3+ years of experience working on presentations for customers utilizing PowerPoint
