In this position…
The Manager, Dealer, Events and Promotions position will play a critical role in expanding the global reach of our branded merchandise in key focus areas. We will achieve our growth targets by establishing Dealers as a destination for merchandise, expanding our Direct-to-Consumer Retail footprint through Events, and driving growth across our Promotional business.
This role is hybrid out of Dearborn, MI.
What you'll do…
- Business Acumen – Achieve revenue & profit targets; manage budgets, reporting & forecasting; develop and track KPIs
- Dealer Channel – Develop & implement strategies to expand branded merchandise at Dealers globally, oversee growth plans with suppliers; drive execution of Dealer shows, merchandise pilots, and incentives; manage day-to-day interactions with Field Operations, Regional Markets, and Dealers, co-developing marketing materials and engagement tools to encourage program adoption across the Global Dealer Body. This person will serve as the boots-on-the-ground for the Dealer Program, coordinating with supplier’s sales force and local Ford representatives.
- Events Management – Work collaboratively across internal & external teams, including agencies, operators and suppliers, to lead the coordination of and attend retail activations and tradeshow booths for branded merchandise; Identify and scope additional Events opportunities to drive the Brand and revenue.
- Promotional Merchandise – Support the day-to-day operations and governance of global business delivering custom merchandise for internal teams and employees, media and vehicle launch activations, giveaways and incentives, plants, executives, etc.
- Project Management – Deliver multiple projects across the diverse businesses simultaneously; manage work plans, timelines and logistics for activations and launches; and attend motorsports events, tradeshows, and partner meetings.
- Analysis – Conduct analysis to drive business decisions.
- Market Insights and Global Trend Analysis – Understand consumer insights and market trends driving customer demand for branded merchandise.
You'll have...
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5+ years of partner/ vendor management experience.
- 3+ years of experience achieving revenue targets and managing budgets & financial forecasts.
- 3+ years of experience in project management and history of successfully delivering complex projects on time and under budget.
