Hardware Test Engineer at Ford Motor Company

Job Descrption

What you’ll be able to do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive component level test plans for high voltage power electronics including Onboard Charger, DC-DC, High Voltage BMS and Charge Controllers.
  • Design, troubleshoot and maintain End of Line (EOL) component level testers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware validation and failure analysis.
  • Support homologation test planning and execution.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-7 years experience as a Hardware Engineer or Hardware Test Engineer.
  • Experience in hardware bring-up and test automation.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize End of Line testers for production reliability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
