In this position...
- Ensure each vehicle program has a compatible propulsion system that robustly delivers vehicle attributes and meets program timing using core methods and tools
- Develop propulsion system design expertise to resolve technical issues across platforms and architectures while ensuring consistent solution implementation and lessons learned incorporation
- Own, maintain and refine core processes, methods and “how we work” documentation for consistency across platforms and architectures
What you'll do...
- Deliver requirements target cascade and hardware selection
- Assess propulsion system status versus target
- Complete study alternatives for attribute or design changes
- Manage workplan issues and / or complete analysis & cascade for select workstreams
- Recommend technical solutions, including the development of new methods and tools
- Hand off to the Propulsion Systems Core Process team for institutionalization
- Complete analysis and cascade for select centralized workstreams
- Peer review of the requirements target cascade and unit workbook updates
- New and updated core processes and methods for use across all programs, platforms and architectures
You'll have...
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science
- 10+ years of Leadership experience
- Willingness to teach & mentor
- Ability to lead and inspire others
- Competent at complex issue resolution
- History of delivering products with Quality, At Cost Targets, and on schedule

- Masters in Engineering or Business
- 15+ years of Leadership experience
- Effective & succinct written and oral communication
