Design and release engineers assume a major role in the product development organization – we are responsible for developing systems and components for multiple programs and delivering them with quality. We are charged with meeting and exceeding both our internal and external customer expectations with regard to fit, function, and finance.

Have a direct impact on vehicle attributes (ride, handling, and NVH).
Engage with multiple cross functional teams (Body, CSE, Veh Eng, VO, Foundation).
Perform management reviews both at the functional and program levels.
Here’s what you’ll do:
You'll have...
BS in Engineering.
1 year of engineering experience.
6+ months of automotive chassis experience including internships and coursework.
Even better, you may have...
2+ years of experience in design and release.
Experience in suspension preferred but not required. Additional experience in Chassis Systems Engineering, Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, and/or Vehicle Engineering is a plus.
Demonstrated experience of effective supplier management, launch, and global program delivery.
Demonstrated ability for technical understanding and leadership.
Demonstrated leadership skills in teamwork, prioritization, and project management.
Hands on experience with CAD, release processes, sourcing processes, creating test requests, documenting evidence in support of requirements and design rules.
Passion for zero defects, passion for customer, high energy, drive for results and openness to learning.
