As a Material Control Supervisor, you will lead a warehouse team, ensuring safety protocols are followed, inventory is accurately tracked, and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. This is an onsite position that will require flexibility including the ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends and most holidays. Eligible for overtime pay when working holidays. There is no hybrid option for this position.
What you’ll do…
The primary role of a Material Control Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Center. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Lead a represented team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.
• Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism.
• Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers to deliver key objectives. Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement

You’ll have…
• High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in similar positions.
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
• Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Even better, you may have…
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Experience working in a union environment.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution/ production operations.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management systems (MOMS, MMP, SAP, EXE, etc.).
• Knowledge of Payroll Systems
