Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and continuity of Pelham Manufacturing & Gem Lab and the day-to-day tasks of Global Protection by overseeing officers and posts and effectively communicating critical information for daily events. Conduct and monitor all investigative needs for Pelham.
Supervise the daily operation of all Pelham security functions. Ensure that all tasks are being completed. Maintain, update, and ensure accuracy of all Manufacturing records/reports and documentation. Perform all scheduling and staffing related functions. Responsible for administering schedule and controlling overtime in accordance with profit plan requirements.
Responsible for follow-up training of officers and officer performance through PMP, evacuation drills, testing, critiques and standards set by the company. Utilize Performance Management and the inter-rater process to ensure the development of your staff and bench strength within the Manufacturing Global Protection staff.
Assist Security Management with special projects, investigations relating to thefts and employee issues, IMP and emergency preparedness.
Assist Security Management as department liaison with other departments in the company by attending meetings within the Pelham location and respond to requests and issues.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years previous supervision level security experience.
Ability to speak fluent English required.
Individual must be computer literate
Must be available to work rotational shifts, weekends, holidays.
Ability to demonstrate and apply analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate and work with all levels of labor and management to ensure all security procedures are being enforced.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
5+ years’ experience in related field.
Previous experience in law enforcement or corporate security
Technical level knowledge of computers.
The hiring range for this position ranges from $68,255.00 - $92,345.00. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
