Autonomous Database Server-less group is looking for experienced developers to join their team to solve many cloud scale problems. ADB-S is the platform for many internal and external customers that provides managed database as a service for other cloud services. The team is also responsible for Multitenant (a.k.a Pluggable Database) architecture for managed cloud service. Work involves many challenging distributed systems problems in the areas of database backup, recovery, high availability, replication (local and across data centers), cloning, zero downtime patching, automation of many database life cycle management tasks, automation of cloud infrastructure setup.
We have urgent need of developers to join the ADB-S team to develop many new features and improve the scalability of existing functionalities. You will have the unique opportunity to work on many different components of the core oracle rdbms and gain knowledge and also work on the cloud code line that deals with automation of many features directly on ADB-S.
Candidate profile: 3+ years experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems/managed services.• Strong knowledge of C/Python/shell scripting• Proficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.• • Deep understanding of databases.• Strong understanding of Linux• Strong problem determination, problem resolution and performance tuning skills
Career Level -
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Work as a lead to deliver many features. coordinate with many teams in the database org.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
