Job Descrption

Global Finance Operations supports Oracle’s sales transactions from quote through invoice collection and sales compensation administration, across all lines of business and countries globally, while continuously improving the employee and customer experience. The Global Finance Operations Enablement (GFOE) team works to improve GFO employee experience and operational efficiency to successfully exceed our customers’ needs and intentions with best-in-class standards and service for knowledge management, employee development, and communications.

 

A GFOE Strategic Communication Marketing Specialist is an experienced:

  • Executive Presentation Designer who can collaborate with high-level executives to create visually stunning and effective presentations.
  • Communication/Marketing Leader who can effectively work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and execute compelling and engaging internal communication/marketing campaigns.
  • Copy Writer and Editor who can generate authentic and persuasive content across diverse platforms to communicate organizational wide information on process, policies, and enhancements.
  • Curriculum Developer who can collaborate with SMEs to develop and implement curriculum strategies and materials to enhance the learning experience.

 

Frequently interacts with manager, team, cross-functional peer group, and executive management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BA/BS degree required.

As an Executive Presentation Designer

  • Collaborate with senior executives and subject matter experts to understand their presentation needs and provide creative and impactful solutions.
  • Distill complex ideas into designs and messages that are concise, engaging, and proper for an executive level audience.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that all presentations are on-brand, error-free, visually appealing, and effectively communicate transformative, key messages.

 

As a Communication/Marketing Leader

  • Utilize strong leadership skills to successfully lead corporate communication/marketing campaigns for transformative corporate initiatives, including sales enablement.
  • Devise ADKAR communication plans that drive awareness, increase desire to learn more, expand knowledge, grow ability to perform and reinforce adoption.
  • Apply data-driven decision making to optimize performance and build informed communication strategies.
  • Use multi-channel communication strategies to deploy change management, employee culture, and employee enablement programs to a global audience.

 

As a Copy Writer and Editor

  • Create high quality and high impact communications and readiness documentation, including formal send mails, newsletters, and process documentation that follow corporate standards.
  • Meticulously publish and edit content with confidence and provide instructive feedback to peers with the goal of improving our organization’s quality and performance.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling digital, video, audio, and printed content that not only informs but influences.

 

As a Curriculum Developer

  • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to identify learning objectives and design appropriate content.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences using a variety of instructional methods, including video development, webinars, and a learning management system.
  • Ensure that curriculum aligns with our corporate brand, industry standards, and best practices.

 

Job duties are varied and complex using independent judgment. Attention to detail is critical, as is curiosity about how things work and why. Technically savvy and enthusiastic about use of tools to help streamline processes. 

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven project management experience in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Strong people skills to build strong working relationships, drive project and change management success, coach authors, and provide positive customer experiences.
  • Experience designing websites with an emphasis on great user experiences.
  • Able to promptly identify project risk factors and address them appropriately.
  • Resolve escalated issues diplomatically.
  • Experience collaborating with global virtual teams, and leading/influencing individuals with strong personalities and opinions.
  • Superb investigative and critical thinking skills.
  • Practiced video development and course delivery skills.
  • Initiative-taking and results oriented.
  • 7 or more years of related experience
  • Sales enablement experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the following:
    • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
    • Data Visualization tools and concepts (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.)
    • Curriculum Development tools (Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Canva, Vyond etc.)
    • Collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
    • Content Management tools (Oracle Content Management, Microsoft SharePoint, etc.)
    • Marketing/Communication tools (Eloqua, Adobe, etc.)
    • Marketing Analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, etc.)
    • Sales Enablement Strategy tools (CRM, sales intelligence, battle cards, etc.)
    • Knowledge, Incident, and Project Management systems (RightNow, Jira, Agile, etc.)
  • Build strategic partnerships to drive change management with a positive frame of mind.
  • Experience with matrixed management and managing cross-functional work.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $73,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
