We’re looking for an Oracle Application Express (APEX) developer to join our team to assist with the design, development & deployment of the Oracle Health applications - all built with APEX. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident in their abilities, fast-paced, and lives and breathes APEX development. You should feel at home with full-cycle design and standards-based development within an Oracle APEX context, and have tactical knowledge of architectural design, data modeling, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and general web development technologies. Tell us about it!
Minimum qualifications include the following:
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of application development experience
- 2+ years of Oracle APEX experience
- Experience working with most of the following:
- Oracle database
- PL/SQL
- HTML/CSS
- Web development
- JavaScript
- JSON/RESTful web services
- Version control (Git preferred, but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals across the organization.
- Artificial intelligence (machine learning, natural language processing, and/or computer vision) knowledge is a plus.
Nice to have the following:
- Java experience
- Building APIs

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

US: Hiring Range: from $62,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
