Job Duties:
Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.31034)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Development Manager-related occupation. Position requires:
- Delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems;
- People management;
- Cloud infrastructure;
- Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals;
- Managing teams of size 10+. Spread across multiple locations/datacenters;
- Databases and standard network architectures;
- Distributed Systems Fundamentals;
- Use of various types of software delivery processes;
- Talent and performance management; hiring;
- DevOps; and
- Automation of processes and automation of operations.

US: Hiring Range: from $112,300 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
