Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with
developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.30189)
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Telecommunications mobile core network control plane standards and protocols;
2. Software architecture, communication system architecture, microservice architecture, and highly-available systems architecture;
3. Use inputs such as business goals, requirements, development resources, and deadlines, to create solution proposals;
4. Consult with customers and product stakeholders on project status, solution proposals, and technical issues;
5. Object oriented software design and programming involving a language such as C++ or Oracle Java;
6. Linux;
7. Cloud native principles, DevOps, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD);
8. Software product lifecycle management.

US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
